Connecting Pipes

Connecting Pipes are used to connect an appliance to either a chimney liner, stack or twin wall flue system. We supply three basic types of connecting pipes :

(A) Vitreous Enamel in either matt black or gloss black finish. The maximum length for vitreous enamel use is 1.8 metres and must not pass through celings or be used on outside walls.

(B) 1mm stainless steel. As well as connecting to the appliance, 1mm stainless steel can be used to reline existing masonry chimneys.

(C) Connecting Adapters are only used to connect the appliance to an existing chimney stack where no flexible stainless steel chimney liner is being used.

It is recommended that a vertical rise of 600mm should be allowed, immediately above the appliance before any change of direction.
