Chimney Cowls

We offer five different ranges of cowls - all from stock.

(A) Rotating Anti-downdraught Cowls: Revolving chimney cowls are designed to cure problems caused by downdraught. When the wind blow, the chimney cowl spins and air is drawn up the chimney. Once the fire is going well, the warm air on the underside of the fins help to rotate the cowl.

(B) Static Anti-downdraught Cowls: Designed to cure the problems caused by downdraught. There are no moving parts on these cowls.

(C) Static Chimney Cowls: Designed to keep out birds and reduce rain entry.

(D) Disused Chimney Covers: Designed for redundant chimneys only. They will keep out the rain whilst still allowing for some ventilation.

(E) Chimney Fans: Smokex fans are a range of fans, designed to extract fumes from your chimney, and are available in four sizes. These are suitable fir Solid, Fuel and Gas fired appliances.
